Dave Sharma MP for Wentworth speaks to the media in Canberra about Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert who was detained in Iran in 2018 and has been sentenced to 10 years detention for espionage. “Her health is not been good to begin with..she’s been held in a prison..where there has been reports of a coronavirus outbreak and Iran is one of the countries worst hit by this coronavirus,” Mr Sharma says. Iran has released 50,000 prisoners from the prison due to the outbreak. “I would encourage the government of Iran to release Kylie Moore-Gilbert in that context,” he adds.
